Mark J. McGranaghan has been practicing law since 1995. His primary practice areas are general business litigation and landlord/tenant law. Mark gained significant courtroom experience by practicing criminal law from 1995 until joining the Bittner & Hahs law firm in March of 2003. He became a shareholder in January of 2006.
Mark's general business litigation experience includes matters involving real estate transaction disputes, construction law (including public works contract disputes - construction defect claims and lien foreclosures), other breach of contract claims, employment law, shareholder disputes, and torts. He also handles numerous eviction trials and other landlord/tenant related matters. Mark is a regular educational presenter for real estate and property management associations and companies.
Mark received his law degree from Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College in 1995. He received a B.A. degree, cum laude, in music from Sonoma State University in 1991.
On a personal note, Mark maintains his musical interests by playing jazz style guitar regularly with other lawyer musicians. Mark and his wife Suzanne Munro have two children through international adoption. They traveled first to Korea to adopt an infant boy in 1997, and then to Viet Nam for an infant girl in 2000.
