Leah C. Sykes was born and raised in Canada before coming on scholarship to her undergraduate Simon Fraser University. She also received a scholarship to attend the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College, where she received her law degree. Her areas of practice in the tri-county area place emphasis on landlord/tenant law and civil litigation.

Memberships and Activities

• Member of the Oregon State Bar, Multnomah Bar Association, and Federal Bar
• Attends Housing Authority of Portland Landlord Advisory Committee, Metro MultiFamily Housing Association meetings, and the ARM committee of IREM
• Conducts training seminars and is a presenter for MMHA, IREM and AHMA (Affordable Housing Management Association)
